This site is dedicated to the memory of Travis Duffey.
He was a fantastic young man who was taken from us far too early.
In his honor and in partnership with the Lake Cities Soccer Association a Scholarship Fund has been set up to help players and referees of the Lake Cities area continue with their education.
Every year scholarships are given out to deserving individuals who will carry on into the next chapter of their lives the character, sportsmanship, and life lessons that the great sport of soccer has contributed to them.

Update: I graduated last May (2016) Cum Laude from Eastern New Mexico University with my Bachelors in Biochemistry. I am currently pursuing my masters in science of health and physical education with an emphasis in Sports Administration also at Eastern New Mexico. After my four years playing at Eastern, I became the Graduate Assistant and have now returned to Dallas with hopes of playing semi-pro this summer.

Things are going wonderful at Texas Tech. I will be a junior this fall 2011. My major is human development and family studies with a minor in psychology. I want to one day be a child life specialist at a children’s hospital. I stay involved by attending sporting events, having an on-campus job in a residence hall so I can communicate with new freshman, and taking part in other activities our campus offers. I plan on graduating in May of 2013. Thank you, Bailey Crane

Dear Mr. Duffey, I’m currently a junior at CSU and am having a fabulous time here. My studies are going well, I have made the dean’s list the past two years and am hoping to continue that trend. I am part of the Wildlife, Conservation, and Natural Resource Management societies on campus. Off campus, I like to hike and snowboard on the weekends. I also volunteer at the Rocky Mountain Raptor center and a Wildlands Restoration organization. I have also made many friends from all over the country, in and out of my major. I want to thank you for helping me come to this amazing school and giving me this wonderful opportunity.
